Anyway, I interpreted the language in their privacy policy as saying “we’ll get your location data when you use a location-based service”… I’m sure that Palm is not the only one collecting this kind of data though!

I guess they need to break it down for people who can’t understand what they mean. I certainly understood… In fact you have the option of agreeing or not when you 1st activate it. And there is an option to turn it off if you want to.
